Stored XSS via improperly neutralized form fields
Published Jan 13, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Stored XSS in Adobe Experience Manager Cloud Service and 6.5.10.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run scripts in a victim's browser. A low-privileged user can save malicious JavaScript in a vulnerable form field, which AEM later renders without effective neutralization when another user opens the containing page. Exploitation requires low-privileged access to store the payload and user interaction; the script runs in the affected site's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
