Stored XSS via unsanitized settings import
Published Jun 7, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in RightPress Pricepep 2.4.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject JavaScript through settings imports. The import() function decodes an uploaded JSON file and writes its unsanitized settings object to rp_wcdpd_settings without authorization or nonce validation. An unauthenticated upload can persist script or HTML that runs when visitors open product pages, requiring a victim to load the poisoned storefront content.
