CVE-2021-43717Network attack vector

Projector control via shared hard-coded credentials

Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 18, 2026

Hard-coded credentials in Epson iProjection 3.2.6 allow remote attackers to authenticate to and control reachable Epson projectors. The APK embeds a static, shared credential that its client logic submits to the projector Web Control endpoint instead of using a device-specific secret. The projector must be network-reachable with iProjection enabled; successful access permits remote-control commands without its configured password.
