Unauthenticated administrative actions via exposed API endpoints
Published Jun 7, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in StylemixThemes uListing before 1.7 allows remote attackers to perform administrative actions through exposed APIs. AJAX actions and WP_Route endpoints accept unauthenticated requests without capability checks or security nonces and pass poorly validated data to privileged WordPress operations. Network access to a WordPress site with the plugin activated is sufficient to create or alter accounts, change options and roles, disclose user data, or delete content.
