Reflected XSS via unsanitized JSONP callback
Published Nov 29, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Workerman-ThinkPHP-Redis before 2018-03-16 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser. Controller.class.php reads the VAR_JSONP_HANDLER query parameter and concatenates it unescaped into the JavaScript response passed to exit(). Exploitation requires user interaction; injected script runs in the affected site's browser origin, exposing browser-accessible data and actions without interrupting the service.
