Cross-site scripting via unsanitized request output
Published Nov 29, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site scripting in IssabelPBX 2.11 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser via a crafted backup request. The page.backup_restore.php handler copies $_REQUEST values into $var and passes the array to dbug(), which processes the values without output sanitization. Exploitation requires user interaction, and successful script execution is confined to the affected browser context.
