Unauthenticated SQL injection via UserId concatenation
Published Dec 2, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in ShopeX ECShop 2.7.3 allows remote attackers to manipulate the administrator lookup through the UserLogin API. API_UserLogin copies the POST UserId value into username and concatenates it without escaping into the admin_user SELECT statement passed to getRow(). The endpoint accepts unauthenticated POST requests, so crafted identifiers can change the login query and its authentication result without user interaction.
