SQL injection via uncast LIMIT and OFFSET values
Published Dec 9, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in Doctrine DBAL 3.0.0 through 3.1.3 allows remote attackers to alter database queries through crafted limit or offset values. AbstractPlatform::modifyLimitQuery passes limit and offset inputs to database-specific query builders without first casting them to integers. Exploitation requires a consuming application to pass attacker-controlled input, and resulting SQL executes with that application's database privileges.
