CVE-2021-4359Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated post deletion via unchecked AJAX action

Published Jun 7, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

Missing authorization in N-Media Frontend File Manager Plugin 18.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete WordPress posts and pages. The unauthenticated wpfm_delete_file AJAX handler converts the supplied file_id to an integer and passes it to wp_delete_post without checking ownership, capability, or a security nonce. No account or user interaction is required; any reachable WordPress post or page ID can be permanently deleted.
