Hard-coded cryptographic keys in Dell PowerPath Management Appliance 2.6 through 3.2 allow local users to access secrets and elevate privileges. Dell identifies the flaw only as a hard-coded cryptographic key in proprietary code and does not disclose the key's storage locus or cryptographic use. Exploitation requires existing high privileges on the appliance; successful access exposes stored secrets and enables further privilege elevation.
