Browser script execution via reflected format parameter
Published Nov 15, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Atmail WebAdmin Control Panel 6.5.0 allows remote attackers to execute browser scripts via a crafted URL. The default URI reflects the format query value into an HTML error response without neutralizing HTML or script markup. A victim must follow the crafted request, after which the script runs in the panel's browser origin and can read or alter session-visible data.
