Unauthenticated content deletion via unchecked listing route
Published Jun 7, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in StylemixThemes uListing 1.6.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary WordPress posts and pages. The /1/api/ulisting-user/deletelisting route invokes StmUser::delete_listing, which accepts caller-supplied user and listing IDs and calls wp_delete_post without authenticating the caller or checking deletion permission. Any network client that can reach the WP_Route endpoint can remove selected site content without an account.
