Stored cross-site scripting in AVEVA PI Vision 2021 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject code into shared displays. The display renderer stores attacker-controlled markup without neutralizing executable content, so Internet Explorer executes it when opening the display. Exploitation requires display-write access and victim interaction; the injected code can disclose, modify, or delete PI System data and other data available under the victim's permissions.
