Unauthenticated settings disclosure via unchecked export request
Published Oct 20, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in RightPress Pricepep before 2.4.2 allows remote attackers to export WooCommerce pricing settings. The rp-wcdpd-settings.class.php constructor registers export() on wp_loaded when rp_wcdpd_export_settings is present, and export() reads rp_wcdpd_settings and returns it as JSON without a capability check. No account is required; the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of configured pricing, discount, and fee rules, while this flaw does not alter them or interrupt service.
