Insecure deserialization in Sunnet eHRD CTMS 8 and 9 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through the e-mail task scheduler. The scheduler reconstructs serialized objects from database-controlled input without adequately validating or restricting the permitted objects. Exploitation requires a logged-in account with database access privileges and permits system control or service interruption.
