Database manipulation via unescaped report fields
Published May 28, 2023 · Updated Jan 13, 2025
SQL injection in ITRS Group Ninja 2021.11.0 through 2021.11.1 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter database data. The scheduled_reports.php model concatenates report type, report ID, period, time, and field-name values into DELETE, SELECT, UPDATE, and INSERT statements without database escaping. Scheduled-report access requires an authenticated user; successful injection exposes data available through Ninja's database account.
