Published Oct 20, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Improper authorization in Radykal Fancy Product Designer 4.6.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to modify site options. The fpd_update_options function accepts option changes from subscribers without a capability check, including changes to the default user role. Subscriber-level access is sufficient to set the default role to Administrator, enabling new accounts to receive administrator privileges and unrestricted control of the WordPress site.
