Unauthenticated command execution via Ping input
Published Nov 30, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Command injection in Zoho ManageEngine Network Configuration Manager before 125488 allows remote attackers to execute commands via Ping input. The Ping feature improperly validates the ipaddress/hostname field, allowing submitted command syntax to alter the command it runs. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation runs attacker-chosen commands on the server.
