Code execution via DWF parser use-after-free
Published Nov 14, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Use-after-free in Open Design Alliance Drawings SDK before 2022.11 allows attackers to execute code through a malicious DWF file. The DWF parser operates on an object without first validating that the object still exists, leaving freed memory accessible. A consuming application must read the crafted file, and code execution requires chaining this flaw with another vulnerability.
