Information disclosure via DGN out-of-bounds read
Published Nov 14, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Open Design Alliance Drawings SDK before 2022.11 allows remote attackers to disclose process memory via a crafted DGN file. The DGN reader accepts crafted file data without verifying its bounds, causing a read past the end of an allocated buffer. Exploitation requires the target to open the file or visit a malicious page; the disclosure can support chained code execution in the current process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
