Arbitrary memory read and write via Blink use-after-free
Published Jul 28, 2023 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Use-after-free in Blink in Google Chrome before 93.0.4577.82 allows remote attackers to read and write memory via crafted HTML. Google identifies Blink as the locus but has not disclosed the freed object's identity or the lifetime operation that leaves it reachable. A victim must open the crafted page; successful exploitation gives the page arbitrary memory read and write within the browser process.
