Denial of service via EE certificate crash

FORT Validator before 1.5.2 allows remote attackers to crash the validator by supplying an RPKI CA publication containing an X.509 EE certificate. Certificate-stack processing mishandles the EE certificate and enters a crash path while building validation state. No authentication is required; the process failure removes RPKI VRP data from RTR clients such as BGP routers and disables Route Origin Validation until recovery.
