Classic buffer overflow in Fortinet FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer allows local users to execute unauthorized code through crafted CLI operations. The execute restore image and execute certificate remote paths copy attacker-controlled TFTP input into a destination buffer without checking its size. Exploitation requires high-privilege local CLI access and can compromise appliance confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
