Protected-host access via unvalidated redirect destination
Published Dec 8, 2021 · Updated Oct 25, 2024
Open redirect in Fortinet FortiWeb 6.4.0 through 6.4.1, 6.3.15 and earlier, and 6.2.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to proxy requests. The redirection handlers interpolate attacker-controlled destination input directly into redirects without validating the target host. A low-privileged session is required, and the consequence is limited to directing traffic toward external or protected hosts.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
