CVE-2021-43055Network attack vector

Channel access via inherited client permissions

Published Jan 11, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Improper authorization in TIBCO eFTL Server 6.7.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to access an existing channel. The server caches permissions from the initially connected client and incorrectly applies those permissions to later clients. Valid client access and a usable connection sequence are required; exploitation grants full access to communications on the inherited channel.
