Cross-channel access via overprivileged API token generation
Published Jan 11, 2022 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Authorization bypass in TIBCO eFTL 6.7.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to access any messaging channel over the network. The eFTL Server token-generation path issues API tokens with arbitrary channel permissions instead of constraining them to the requester's privileges. A low-privileged account is required; successful use grants full access to communications on an existing channel.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
