CVE-2021-43052Network attack vector

Unauthenticated channel access via hard-coded realm secret

Published Jan 11, 2022 · Updated Sep 17, 2024

Authentication bypass in TIBCO FTL 6.7.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to access communications on existing eFTL channels. The default Realm Server authenticates requests with a hard-coded shared secret instead of credentials unique to each authorized party. Network reachability to a default Realm Server is sufficient, and the bypass exposes and permits modification of existing channel communications.
