CVE-2021-43030

Arbitrary data disclosure via uninitialized MP4 pointer

Published Dec 20, 2021 · Updated Apr 23, 2025

Access of Uninitialized Pointer in Adobe Premiere Rush 1.5.16 and earlier allows remote attackers to disclose arbitrary data via malicious MP4 files. The MP4 parser reads memory through a pointer that was not initialized before access, exposing residual process data. Exploitation requires a victim to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file; the impact is information disclosure without reported modification or service interruption.
