Code execution via out-of-bounds EPS/TIFF parsing
Published Dec 20, 2021 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Out-of-bounds memory access in Adobe Premiere Rush 1.5.16 and earlier allows local users to execute code via a malicious EPS/TIFF file. The Windows file parser accesses memory beyond the end of a buffer while processing attacker-controlled EPS or TIFF content. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted file, and resulting code runs in the current user's context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
