Sensitive data disclosure via SQL injection bypass
Published May 10, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Web application firewall bypass in Safedog Apache 4.0.30255 allows remote attackers to read sensitive database data via SQL injection. The Apache request filter fails to recognize a crafted SQL-injection payload documented by the public proof of concept and forwards it to the protected application. No authentication or user interaction is required, but disclosure depends on a reachable application endpoint that passes attacker-controlled input to a database query.
