Script execution via feedback imgurl injection
Published Mar 29, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in cxuucms 3.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in a viewer's browser through feedback content. The public record identifies the /feedback/post/ imgurl content parameter as the injection locus but does not disclose the faulty rendering operation. A victim must view the affected content; injected script then runs under the application's origin, enabling limited data access or modification.
