Sensitive information disclosure via dumpable process memory
Published Nov 17, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Sensitive information disclosure in Zoho Remote Access Plus before 10.1.2132.6 allows local users to read secrets from process memory. The Windows server and agent desktop processes run in the logged-in user's context and retain database strings, tokens, private keys, and Remote Command Prompt input in dumpable memory. A non-administrator with a local Windows login can dump ToolsIQ.exe or the server process and recover credentials and infrastructure details exposed during administrative activity.
