Wi-Fi credential disclosure via unauthenticated wizard request
Published Jun 3, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Missing authentication in TOTOLINK EX1200T firmware 4.1.2cu.5215 allows remote attackers to read stored Wi-Fi credentials. The setting/getEasyWizardCfg handler returns configuration data, including the Wi-Fi key, when selected by an unauthenticated topicurl request. Network access to the extender's management interface is sufficient, and the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of stored wireless credentials.
