Unauthenticated administrative access via crafted login request
Published Jun 3, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Authentication bypass in TOTOLINK EX1200T 4.1.2cu.5215 allows remote attackers to obtain administrative access via HTTP. The formLoginAuth.htm handler treats attacker-supplied authCode=1, userName=admin, and action=login values as a successful login and routes the request to home.asp without requiring a password. No prior authentication or user interaction is required; successful exploitation grants access to the device's administrative interface.
