Unauthenticated command execution via unvalidated URL path
Published Mar 9, 2022 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Command injection in SteelCentral AppInternals DSA before 11.8.8 or 12.13.0 allows remote attackers to execute system commands. AgentControllerServlet passes an unvalidated URL-path component through runAgent into the platform agent script, where shell metacharacters alter the command. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful exploitation executes with the agent service account's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
