Published Nov 3, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Buffer overflow in Broadcom Emulex HBA Manager and OneCommand Manager allows remote attackers to corrupt memory via GetDumpFile. The remote GetDumpFile command copies attacker-controlled input without adequate bounds checking; Broadcom has not disclosed the affected buffer or copy operation. The command is reachable when Strictly Local Management mode is disabled, and non-secure mode requires no authentication; downstream effects beyond memory corruption remain unspecified.
