Code execution via end-of-buffer M4A access
Published Nov 16, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Memory corruption in Adobe Bridge 11.1.1 and earlier allows attackers to execute code as the current user through a malicious M4A file. The M4A parsing path accesses memory after the end of a buffer when it handles crafted file data. A victim must open the file on Windows, and successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled code with that victim's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
