Local privilege escalation in Splashtop Remote Personal Client for Windows before 3.4.8.4 allows local users to gain SYSTEM privileges. A Windows Installer repair executes temporary files from the triggering user's writable %TEMP% directory under the SYSTEM account. Any authenticated local user can initiate the repair through the Windows Installer API or msiexec, making SYSTEM-level code execution reachable.
