Authentication bypass via login query manipulation
Published Nov 5, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in Engineers Online Portal 1.0 allows remote attackers to bypass authentication through the username or password field. The referenced PoC submits a Boolean SQL tautology in either credential field to login.php, while the CVE description locates the form in index.php. Network access to the form is sufficient; the payload changes authentication-query logic and grants access without valid credentials.
