Pre-auth code execution via hardcoded APP_KEY
Published Jan 31, 2022 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Hardcoded credentials in PrinterLogic Web Stack 19.1.1.13 SP9 and earlier allow remote attackers to execute code before authentication. The server embeds a fixed APP_KEY, but published records do not disclose how possession of that shared key is converted into an executable request. Exploitation requires network reachability to the Web Stack server, which the reporting researchers state is usually internal, and yields code execution on that server.
