Unauthenticated WAN settings disclosure and modification
Published Aug 23, 2022 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Authentication bypass in D-Link DIR-615 firmware 20.06 allows remote attackers to read and modify WAN settings through wan.htm. The web interface serves the WAN configuration page directly without validating an authenticated session, exposing displayed settings and writable fields. Network access to the management interface is sufficient; credentials and user interaction are unnecessary, while the published evidence does not establish code execution or persistent compromise.
