SQL injection via raw sort clause
Published Dec 19, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
SQL injection in Laravel jqGrid allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL through attacker-controlled grid sorting input. The getRows method assembled an orderByRaw clause from the requested sort column and direction without safe parameterization. Exposure requires a consuming Laravel application to pass attacker-controlled sorting values, permitting database reads or writes under the application's database privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
