Stored script execution via unescaped contractor names
Published Dec 18, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Ctrlo Lenio allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The views/contractor.tt template inserts contractor.name directly into an HTML table cell without applying the Template Toolkit html filter. An authenticated attacker can store a crafted contractor name; script runs when another user views the contractor list, enabling browser-context data access or actions.
