Reflected XSS via unvalidated search input
Published Dec 13, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in Share-one-Drive before 1.15.3 allows remote attackers to inject script through the WordPress plugin search function. Public records identify insufficient input validation in the search function but do not disclose the affected parameter or missing output-encoding operation. A victim must open the crafted search request; the reflected script then executes in the WordPress site context and can perform attacker-chosen page actions.
