CVE-2021-42530

Arbitrary code execution via crafted-file stack overflow

Published May 2, 2022 · Updated Nov 3, 2025

Stack-based buffer overflow in Adobe XMP Toolkit SDK 2021.07 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a crafted file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected parser function or the unchecked operation that overruns its stack buffer.
