Out-of-bounds write in Adobe Animate 21.0.9 and earlier allows attackers to execute code as the current user via a malicious BMP file. Adobe identifies BMP file parsing as the trigger but has not published the affected parser routine or the bounds error that causes the overwrite. The victim must open the crafted file, after which injected code runs with that user's permissions.
