Unrestricted file upload in Hector Cabrera WP Popular Posts 5.3.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code. Image.php's fetch_external_image() accepted a custom-field URL with a double-extension basename and saved the downloaded body under that name without restricting the final extension. Exploitation requires contributor-level access, nondefault custom-field thumbnail and resize settings, and the PHP GD extension.
