Published Nov 5, 2021 · Updated Feb 14, 2025
Improper access control in legal web GmbH WP DSGVO Tools (GDPR) 3.1.23 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete site content via an AJAX request. The admin-dismiss-unsubscribe AJAX action accepts any post ID without nonce, capability, or post-type checks, then deletes the referenced posts-table entry. No account or user interaction is required; one request trashes a post or page, and a repeated request permanently deletes it.
