Memory disclosure via unchecked MP4 buffer read
Published Sep 7, 2023 · Updated Feb 27, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Premiere Pro 22.0 and earlier and 15.4.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to disclose process memory via MP4 files. The MP4 parser fails to validate user-supplied data before reading past the end of an allocated buffer, exposing adjacent memory. A victim must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file; the disclosure can help bypass ASLR and support a chained code-execution attack.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
