Cross-site request forgery in KindEditor 4.1.12 and earlier allows remote attackers to act with a victim's authority via a crafted HTML file. The examples/uploadbutton.html demonstration accepts attacker-uploaded HTML and permits requests without verifying the victim's intent. Exploitation requires a user to follow the malicious link while holding authority on the hosting site; the public record does not identify the exact privileged operation reached.
